Master Tung Acupuncture Workshop

New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NYCTCM) is holding a 2-day in-person workshop, this time for Master Tung Acupuncture

The workshop will demonstrate unique techniques from Master Tung Acupuncture, including Dao Ma, Dong Qi and Qian Yin Needling techniques. Workshop will also demonstrate Master Tung style treatment protocols on various body parts, including upper and lower limbs, head, neck, ear, upper back, as well as clinical management of conditions like insomnia, stroke, allergies.

The workshop is to help practitioners learn better at locating Master Tung points. Hands-on training will be available.

The workshop is in-person format. No online format provided this time.

Master Tung’s Acupuncture is a system based on Zang-Fu. The system is independent from traditional 14 channels (12 regular plus Ren Du). Master Tung’s Acupuncture had been in Tung family for generations, and it was publicized by Ching Chang Tung (董景昌, 1916-1975), who was the first person to teach such system outside Tung family. Tung trained 73 students on Master Tung’s Acupuncture, and they’re practicing in different parts of the globe.

Master Tung’s Acupuncture is greatly praised for its ease of use, simplicity, and great treatment efficacy. In short, it can get patients great results with very few needles.
