The NYCTCM Library currently holds over 3000 books, academic journals and media resources. Our library provides the service to students and teachers of finding and ordering desired books from vendors and publishers. As a means of building goodwill with the local community, the library is also available to local residents and patients in the school clinic (with no check-out privileges). We continuously increase our holdings to improve the quantity and quality of our library to better aid students and faculty in pursuance or further professional development.

All of our students, faculty and alumni have access to following online research databases. Log in and passwords can be attained from the Librarian.

  2. All borrowers must be registered and must fill out a library card for each borrowed book. Students need to bring in cash or check in order to purchase books.
  3. Students may borrow 2 books for 2 weeks and renew once if there is not a waiting list on the title.
  4. Teachers can borrow more than two books and hold them for a longer time due to teaching needs, but must return all borrowed materials by the end of each trimester.
  5. All books must be checked out before taking them out of the library.
  6. Reference books and magazines are only to be read in the library, except for use in teaching.
  7. Videotapes and CDs are only to be used on school premises.
  8. Books should be returned on time.  A first notice will sent after the book is due.  If the book is not returned within a designated period (2 weeks), a fine of 10 cents per day will be calculated for another 2 weeks and after that the new book price will be charged to the student’s account.
  9. The borrower is responsible for damaged and lost books.
