NYCTCM 20th Anniversary (October 2016)

The 20th Anniversary celebration gala took place at Terrace on the Park, located in Flushing Meadow-Corona Park, New York, on October 9, 2016. Over 300 guests, alumni, students, faculty, and staff attend this celebration. Important guests include Ms. Grace Meng (U.S. Congresswoman representing the Six Congressional District of New York), Dr. David P.J. Hung (Former Chairman of World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies), Professor Jin Zhang (One of Four representatives of the :Acupuncture” intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO), Professor Guirong Dong (Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine), Dr. Thomas Burgoon (President of American Academy of Medical Acupuncture), Dr. Jeffrey Nichols (Medical Director of Gouveneur Healthcare Services), Nancy Yao Maasbach (President of Museum of Chinese in America), and other national and statewide acupuncture profession leaders.
